My homepage is a project to familiarize myself with Content Management Systems (CMS). I'm using an open source CMS system from Joomla!. Please visit the link to Joomla for details about development and newest releases. I recently changed my template to make my website mobile friendly. The same content will be displayed differently depending on device attributes and screen size.
I also added a new Photo Album Software from jAlbum to my website. All our pictures can be found here. I changes my jAlbum skin to a mobile friendly skin. The same photo albums are now displayed differently based on device attributes and screen size.
Since I got a new Canon camera I am now able to create time lapse video. Here is a link to my videos where you can find a time lapse video of a cactus flower. Most of the latest pictures are taken with our Samsung S4 smartphones. It's convenient, because we have our phones always with us and the phones can take panoramic, HDR and all different kind of types of pictures.
I don't like advertising on my website, but Google owes me some money. Google will not send me a check unless I have earned $100.00 in ad money. Therefore please click on the ads in the lower right hand corner and check out these advertisers.
We are already into 2018. Gerda and I went to Mexico for a week by the end of January. Here are links to the pictures from the Moon Palace hotel, Chichen Itza and Rio Secreto. Rio Secreto was an experience of a lifetime. We felt like cave explorers exploring a cave for the first time. If anyone of you comes into this neighborhood I can only recommend this tour.
Since we have our travel trailer we are going camping on a regular basis. In February we went camping in Cave Creek. and in March we went to McDowell Mountain Regional Park.
Over the Labor Day weekend we went with the motorcycle and some friends to Wiliams. We made a day trip to the Grand Canyon and another day trip along Route 66.

From there we went back to Denver where the HOG Rally ended with a celebration at the Mile High Harley Davidson dealer. it took us another 3 days to drive back from Denver to Phoenix.
