I finally upgraded to Joomla! 3.4 because the support for my 2.5 version ended by the end of last year.

I was always amazed by time lapse movies. Recently I got a new camera and I had to try to make a time lapse movie myself. My first attempt was a time lapse movie of a Prickly Pear cactus flower in my backyard. These cactus flowers bloom only one day. I setup my my camera on a tripod and I used a timer to shot a picture ever 3 minutes.  I ended up with about 200 pictures. I loaded them into my computer and converted them into a slide show with about 8 pictures a second. Here is a link to my first time lapse movie on YouTube. 3 days later I tried it again. This time I set my timer to take a picture every minute and I shot pictures for 13 hours. I ended up with about 800 pictures, but the resulting time lapse movie is a lot smother then the previous one. Here is the link to my second time lapse movie on YouTube.

Hi Friends we have a new patio in our backyard. Check out the pictures. We love it. It is our new place to hang out in the evening and enjoy a glass of wine or have breakfast. During the winter we will use the chiminea to have a nice fire, roast some marshmallows or just hang out there.
